Oh My Lash!!

When I'm not on set behind the brush I'm on the web exploring the ever trending and changing beauty world that I love so much. It usually starts with me checking my Facebook for any new post of products from my fellow makeup artist friends. If there's nothing there that catches my eye I head over to Instagram where there's guaranteed an overload of products being blasted on my timeline. My routine is if it catches my eye, makes me think, or seems unreal investigate it!

This is how I came across Oh My, Lash! I had seen a post where 4 stylish pairs of lashes in very cute vintage designed boxes that had pin up girls on the boxes. I though "hmmm very cute box, but what about the lash quality?" Time to investigate! The Instagram account of OML has a ton of photos of lashes and the large variety of styles they offer. I commented on a few photos and decided to check out the actual online "shop".

Let me just add that I LOVE it when a brand's webs site is easy on my eyes and a breeze to search and shop! I went straight to the lashes that originally caught my eye on Instagram, the Sweetheart Collection. Just so happens OML was giving the Sweetheart Collection away for free (with $5.99 shipping). I came this far... So I ordered, especially since I was told personally by OML Instagram account that I wouldn't be disappointed.

Shipping & Packaging:  My lashes arrived in a week, so Oh My Lash gets all 5 of my LadyLike stars for fast shipping.  The packaging was exactly as advertised and the lashes of the Sweetheart Collection look beautiful.

Quality:  They (the sweetheart collection) are all synthetic haired and I have no problem with that. I prefer natural haired lashes but that's just me. Oh My, Lash Shop claims to be cruelty free and has this Disclaimer posted on their site about the  of their mink lashes

Product Test Drive:

I decided to take the Jo Jo pair for a test drive. The application was a breeze, I had no problem snipping them down to size for my eyes. I wasn't a fan of the extra packaging adhesive that seem to not come off of the lash band. However, a few swipes with a cotton swab of 99% alcohol it came off. Now These are synthetic haired lashes so they did have a slight plastic vibe. But can you expect from synthetic? After completing my look for the evening I was happy with the results of my finished look.

Here I'm wearing the JoJo style

After our night on the town I was able to remove my lashes without any snags and the adhesive I used peeled right away cleanly. After spraying them with 99% alcohol I placed them back in their box for the next go round.
